Get healthy with me: How to drink more water (6 Tips)


It´s so important to drink enough water, in order to stay hydrated throughout the day. Our body needs water for so many different things; to digest the food we´re eating, to flush toxins out of the body, to keep our skin nice and glowing… Now who wouldn´t want nice glowing Skin? No one, right? And it´s so easy, just drink enough water. Now you might be saying, “I´m trying, but it´s not enough” or “How on earth am I going to manage to drink 1,5 to 2 liters a day?!” I know it´s a stuggle for many people, so I have some easy tips for you, that have helped me to drink enough water throughout the day.

#1. Take a water bottle with you wherever you go. Make it an essential in your handbag or backpack.

#2. Mix in some 100% fruit-juice. A tiny Little bit mixed with a lot of water, not only tastes amazing, which will have you drinking and drinking, but it also gives your body some vitamins! It´s a win-win situation.

#3. At home, drink your water out of a funky glas! This sounds so weird, but it seriously works! It´s so much fun, I bought myself a really funky glas, and I am really drinking more! And you can litterally go crazy with the glases, there are yo many fun ones out there!

#4. Spice up your water with fresh fruit! (=Detox-Water!!!) Just cut up whatever fruit you like and toss it in your water (I like Kiwi and apples, kiwi and strawberries, lemon and blue- or strawberries), wait a few minutes and you´ve got yourself a really good-tasting, healthy water. It´s much better, than drinking the artificial, flavored water you get in the supermarket, usually there is no real fruit whatsoever in there, so stay away from those!

#5. My go to Detox-Water: Squeze a lemon in a glas full of water and add one teaspoon of paprica powder. It´s so amazing for your body, it´s got so many benefits and tastes really good!

#6. Drink by time: Take a water bottle and a permanent marker, mark every 2 inches. Label the marks with a time, e.g. first mark 8 am, second mark 10 am… Repeat on the opposite side of the bottle. (If you know what I mean) Then take it with you and it´ll make sure you drink enough!
