It´s finally here: My smoothie time part 2 post!
As I said in one of my previous posts, I got a new blender which I´m very happy with. It´s from the Brand WWF. If you want me to do a review, let me know.
Anyways, I´ve been making smoothies every day, trying and experimenting around. I´ve also been really into green smoothies, them being a big part of my breakfast and sometimes lunch. I totally love the way they make me feel and how they taste. A lot of people I know say that they hate green smoothies, because they taste so disgusting, but I made smoothies which taste really amazing, seriously! Give them a try and let me know how you liked them and whether you have any favorite smoothie recipe.
1. Kiwi Watermelon Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 3 Kiwis
- 1/8 watermelon
- lemon juice
You know the drill: Blend!
2. Watermelon Refresher
- watermelon
- lemon juice
This literally blew my mind when I tasted it, it´s so easy and so incredibly yummy! It´s probably the easiest smoothie I´ve ever made! Store your watermelon in a fridge so when you blend it it´s cold and refreshing on a summer day!
2. The Tropical
- 1 banana
- 1/2 mango
- 1/2 apple
- 1/2 grape fruit
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (add coconut milk or flakes if you want it to taste stronger)
- 1,5 inc. of a cucumber
- lemon juice
- a little water
3. Pineapple Kiwi Strawberry smoothie
- 1 banana
- 2 slices of a pineapple
- 1/2 apple
- 2 kiwis
- fresh strawberries
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- apple juice
- peppermint leaves
- water
4. The Classic Berry
- 2 cups mixed berries or just one sort of berries
- 1 banana
- almond milk
This is probably the easiest smoothie to make! You can also add in anything from there, like me, I added 1/2 apple and a nectarine. It tasted so amazing!
5. Thick watermelon berry smoothie
- watermelon
- raspberries
- apple slice
Here you don´t need to add any liquid, the watermelon contains enough water already. This smoothie is really filling, delicious and is an instant energy-booster. Therefore it makes a great afternoon snack, as well as a pre-workout one!
6. Green Kiwi Cucumber smoothie
- 1 banana
- 2 kiwis
- 1/2 apple
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 inc. cut from a cucumber
- apple juice
- water
7. My favorite green smoothie
- 1 banana
- 3 kiwis
- 3/4 apple
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 1 celery piece
- crushed ice
- juice of 1/4 lime
8. Another green smoothie
- 1 banana
- 2 kiwis
- spinach (mine was frozen in portions, I took three. If you´re using a fresh one, take about 1 1/2 hand ful, or as much as you like)
- 3/4 apple
- 1 piece celery
- mint leaves
- lime juice
- water
