Where I write…

So we´ve covered why I write and now it´s time for where I write.

I write mostly in my bedroom on my bed. I have this beautiful sheet I put on my bed during the day.
I like to put some pillows behind my back to make sure I´m comfortable.
I put on my christmas lights, smile at the pictures on my wall and open my computer.

My bedroom is small, but I like it. It has my dresser, my wardrobe, a table and my bed in it.
I have a very colorful bedroom.
I like bold colors.

To write, I need silence and time. Those are the top priorities.
If I don´t have silence, I can´t concentrate.
If I don’t have time, my hands aren´t relaxed enough to translate my brains thoughts to paper or to the keyboard.

To deal with writer’s block, which I do have, thankfully rarely, but nevertheless.. I like to go for a jog and do yoga.
just relax and get my mind off it
take my time, not coming back before at least 30 minutes after leaving the computer
sometimes I waiting some days
and relax/recover

To start again, I will sit before the computer with no time-pressure
I will tell myself that it´s okay
I will try to relax
If I have to force it, it won´t become a good text
that´s why I try to be at ease

I have to be relaxed when I write
or if I´m stressed, writing will release that tension and stress
then I write in my diary or on random papers

I always, always, always have a pen and paper with me
wherever I go, it´s there in my bag, along with my key, which is equally important

Writing in an open area, a coffee shop, is something that would work too
If there´s too much going on outside my door
a coffee shop is a good escape
it´s quiet, has a calm atmosphere…perfect to write

When I write, I hardly think
that may sound strange
but it´s true
I let my hands do the work and just look at the screen seeing what they came up with

What I write comes from my soul, my heart and brain
the result of that comes from my fingers
the words come pouring out of my hand, eager to come to sheet
eager to be finally written, spoken..out

I write in an atmosphere where I can be still, calm
where I have time, energy and where I can let my creativity run free

Where do you write?

That was funny to write. What did you think of it? It was kind of like a poem, only not really… What was it? I don´t know, you tell me.

What I´d also love, if you could tell me what would be topics you´d like me to write about? Any specific theme? Do you want more fashion? More fitness? More recipes? More lifestyle talk? More my opinion? Would you like me to talk about anything specific?
Please let me know!
You can write me an e-mail (you´ll find my contact page here) and I´ll be sure to respond. Or you can leave a comment below! I´m looking forward to hearing from you!

  2. I really enjoyed this, especially the way you wrote it – it really read like a poem. You seem to have a very natural talent for writing.
You should write about whatever you feel passionate about, but always include your opinion. It’s always interesting to read what other people think x

    1. Thank you so much! Wow! Your words are so motivating for me:-) ❤
Thanks for your feedback:-) I´ll try and include my opinion more often, if not in every post. That´s great to hear and a good point. Thanks XO
