Give relaxation as a gift -Learn how to!

Is it already Thursday?! What?! Wait!!! I have seriously been really busy the past days, that´s why I haven´t posted anything (also because I´m currently working on several posts at the same time…).
But I´m back;-) so get ready to read a lot! You have been warned;-)
Also can I just say how amazing these photos are?! I spent so much time arranging them and I´m really happy with how they turned out!

But now, let´s get into this post which is about giving relaxation as a gift as well as the essentials to a happy, healthy body and soul. Of course there is more to a happy, healthy body and soul than this, but for me and everyone I know this really helps them relax and take care of their body. Now who wouldn´t want that? And guess what: these are really easy to make and for me they are my go-to present idea, because they´re so customizable and I get so much positive feedback for them.

What I´m talking about? I´m talking about homemade scrubs and bath salt. Want to learn how to make them? Then you´re right here!

First up are my scrubs. I have several different ones I like to make. The first one is my classic, I make this one throughout the year for myself.

Honey Lemon Scrub

Incase you´re wondering “mit ganz viel liebe” in german means “made with lot´s of love” in english.

What you´ll need:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey

Mix everything together in a bowl and add into a small glass or container. You can decorate and label them so they look cute and that´s pretty much it! Easy, right?

Coffee Scrub

What you´ll need:

  • 1 cup coffee (in this picture I used less, because I didn´t have much left…)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp non-smelling oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey

Mix the dry ingredients and if you have time, let them sit for a little while. That makes everything smell even better. Then melt the coconut oil and add in everything else. Mix well until you get a good texture and put into a glass or container, decorate and voilà!
Coffee doesn´t only smell amazing and doesn´t only get you fit just smelling it, but it also helps with cellulite. So this scrub is pretty much a must for everyone-by that I mean you shouldn´t forget yourself. Go ahead make this scrub for yourself! You deserve it!

Lavender Scrub

What you´ll need:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • lavender essential oil (make sure it´s skin-friendly, you don´t want anybody reacting allergically to it…)

Mix everything, after you´ve melted the coconut oil. Put into a glass or container and decorate! Voilà!
This is great for anyone who is stressed a lot! Add a cute note and you´re sure to bring joy this christmas to this special person!
