Pensive

In highschool I always loved writing my own stuff, without any rules. One day my teacher told us to write an inner monologue for a caracter in a book we were reading. I totally loved writing it. When I read it out loud to my class, my teacher was impressed and said it sounded just the german writer “Schnitzler”. That made me really happy and look at that, this memory really stuck with me. So much I remember it very vividly. So here you go, an inner monologue of me and/or the dog, you choose, in “Schnitzler”style.

This is my response to the DailyPosts OneWordPrompt: Pensive.

This weather…yuck…I should go outside today…for a small run…I haven´t run in a few days…I really should get out…but…this blanket…it´s too cozy…so soft and fluffy…and outside is so dark…and gloomy…wet…just yuck…just a couple more minutes…in bed…I´ll close my eyes…real short…I worked so hard the past weeks…let me rest…just really short…ten minutes…then I´ll get out…go for a run…in this dark, rainy weather…you gotta do what you gotta do…but you also have to listen to your body…it´s telling me to rest…and sleep…just a few more minutes…what do they say?…rest is as important as the sport itself…okay…now…let´s get out of bed…or doze off…where are my shoes…I don´t know…I must´ve lost them…too much effort to get out of this blanket now…sleep…close eyes…I must…rest…ressss…..

Can you relate?

Besides that I love to listen to music, sing along, paint, sketch, draw, photograph literally anything and everything, talk a lot, laugh more, inspire people and enjoy life one day at a time.
